New Feature: AI Autotagging for Documents
Tired of manually placing signature tags on 50-page documents? At BlueNotary, we are constantly innovating to make your workflow faster and more precise. We are excited to introduce AI Autotagging, our new AI-powered tool that automatically detects where your clients need to sign, initial, and date.
Who can use it?
Currently, AI Autotagging is live for all PRO accounts.
Note: This feature is in its initial release phase. For now, you will find it under Advanced Options on the "New Session" page. Once the feature is fully stabilized, we will move it to a more prominent location in your dashboard.

How to Enable AI Autotagging (Step-by-Step)
- Start your Invite: Go to the "New Session" page as you normally would.
- Access Advanced Options: Before sending the invitation, look for the Advanced Options section.
- Toggle the Feature: Select the checkbox for "Autotagging with AI."
- Enter the Session: When you enter the PDF session, a detailed loading modal will appear. This modal keeps you informed as the AI "reads" the document structure.

What to Expect During the Process
- Processing Time: The AI performs a deep analysis of your document. This typically takes about one minute to fully complete the tagging.
- Dedicated AI Panel: Once inside the session, you will see a specific AI Panel on the side. This is your control center for all automatically generated tags.
- Detailed Progress: The loading screen isn't just a spinner; it provides a breakdown of the AI's progress so you know exactly when the document is ready for review.
Pro-Tips for Best Results
- Document Clarity: The AI performs best on documents with clear signature lines or defined text fields.
- Review & Refine: While our AI is highly accurate, the Notary always has the final word. Use the AI Panel to quickly verify that every tag is exactly where you want it.
This is just the first version of AI Autotagging for our LIVE accounts. We are committed to continuous improvement and will be rolling out updates to speed, accuracy, and multi-signer support based on your feedback.
We want to hear from you! If you have suggestions or find a specific document type that needs better detection, please reach out to our support team.
