Digital Certificate and eSeal - Sample Output File

In order to download a sample file to send to your SOS, use the Session Simulator feature:

This guide walks you through managing your eSeal, creating a sample document, applying signatures, and completing a session using the Session Simulator.


You will need to add your signature and eseal to the document. The Digital Certificate will be automatically encrypted within the document upon completion.


Certain states will require a specific Exemplar Document/SoS Document (New York, Nevada, Kentucky, Illinois, Maine, Montana). Click here for more detailed information.


Managing Your eSeal & Personal Details

Your personal settings directly control how your eSeal appears on documents.


To view your eSeal:

  1. Go to Manage > eSeal 
  2. View your current eSeal
  3. Upload or update a custom eSeal if needed


To reset your eSeal:

  • Update your personal details (name, commission info, etc.) in Settings
  • Save changes to restore default eSeal values


Creating a Sample Document

  1. Navigate to Session Simulator from the homepage under Additional Resources 
  2. Start a mock session
  3. Drag and drop your eSeal and** signature** onto the document where required.
  4. To finalize your document > Go to Menu
  5. Click Complete Session
  6. Download and review your finalized document.


Important:

Digital certificates are automatically embedded into the document upon completion (not visible during the session)


TO UPLOAD YOUR OWN DOCUMENT


You can upload your own document (your SOS application or exemplar, for example) by clicking the upload icon:


When you have dropped your seal on the document in simulator, click the Complete button. This will automatically open a new tab with your sample file for download.


Please note, this will not be stored in your journal from Session Simulator
