IMPORTANT: Open Call Sessions Require All Document Review Before Completion

To ensure accuracy and compliance, notaries are now required to review all documents before completing a session. This update is especially important for open-call and compliance-sensitive workflows, where missing even a single document can lead to issues.

What’s changed?

The Complete Session button will remain disabled until every document in the session has been opened at least once. This ensures that all documents are reviewed before finalizing.

How it works

  • Each document in the session must be opened by the notary
  • The system tracks which documents have been viewed
  • Once all documents are opened, you're ready to hit the Complete Session button.

If any document hasn’t been opened, you won’t be able to complete the session.

Clear guidance when something is pending

If requirements are not met, the system will clearly show what’s missing. This includes:

  • A list of unopened documents
  • Any required actions (such as incomplete fields or checklists)

This removes guesswork and helps you quickly identify what needs attention.

Why this matters

This update is designed to:

  • Reduce compliance risk
  • Prevent accidental skips during notarization
  • Ensure all documents are properly reviewed
  • Provide full visibility into pending actions

What you should do

Before completing a session:

  1. Open each document in the session
  2. Review all required fields and checklists
  3. Confirm there are no pending actions

Once everything is complete, you’ll be able to finish the session without issues.
