How to Update Your Email, Name, Commission & Other Details in Your Notary Account
You can easily update your personal and commission-related information from your account settings. Keeping this information accurate ensures compliance and smooth transaction processing.
Where to Find Personal Details
- Log in to your Notary account
- Navigate to Settings
- Open the Personal Details section

Fields You Can Update
Within the Personal Details section, you’ll be able to view and edit the following:
Basic Information
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
Notary Information
- Notary Commission Number
- State
- County
- City
- Commission Expiration Date
How to Update Your Information
- Go to Settings → Personal Details
- Click into the field you want to update
- Enter the correct or updated information
- Click Save Changes (or equivalent action button)
Important Notes
- Email Changes: Updating your email will require you to enter your password and an addtional email verification. Make sure you have access to the new email inbox.
- Commission Details: Ensure your commission number, state, and expiration date match your official notary records.
- Expiration Date: Keeping this up to date is critical. An expired commission may restrict your ability to perform notarizations.

- Review your details periodically, especially before performing notarizations
- Update your information immediately after any official changes (e.g., renewal, relocation)
- Double-check spelling and formatting to avoid issues in notarized documents
