Calendly Integration
Calendly integration allows you to connect your Calendly booking page with BlueNotary so clients can schedule appointments based on your availability. Once connected, BlueNotary automatically receives booking notifications and your Book a Session link is powered through your Calendly schedule.
This guide will walk you through creating a Personal Access Token, connecting your Calendly account, and troubleshooting common connection issues.
Before You Begin
Before connecting Calendly, make sure your account meets the following requirements.
Supported Calendly Plans
BlueNotary requires webhook access to receive booking notifications from Calendly. Webhook access is available on:
- Standard
- Teams
- Enterprise
Note: New Calendly accounts include a 14-day trial of paid features. Once the trial expires, the account reverts to the Free plan unless upgraded, and webhook access is no longer available.
Guide to Create Personal Access Token
- Login or Signup to your Calendly Account.
- Go to the Integrations Page.

- Select the API & Webhooks title.
- Select Get a token now under Personal Access Tokens.

- Create a token with any name and, then Copy Token.

You'll use this token to connect Calendly with BlueNotary.
Integration with BlueNotary
- Go to the account setting page and click on Connect Calendly Account section.
- Paste the copied Token and save.
Troubleshooting Calendly Connection Issues
If your Calendly integration isn't connecting, it's usually because BlueNotary couldn't create the required webhook.
Why This Happens
The most common causes are:
Your Calendly plan doesn't support webhooks
Webhook access is only available on:
- Standard
- Teams
- Enterprise
If you're using the Free plan, the integration cannot be completed.
Required permissions weren't approved
When connecting Calendly, you'll be asked to authorize BlueNotary.
If any of the requested permissions are denied, BlueNotary won't be able to create the required webhook and the integration will fail.
How to Fix the Connection
If you're having trouble connecting Calendly:
- Confirm your Calendly account is on a supported plan (or still within the 14-day trial).
- Disconnect your existing Calendly integration from BlueNotary.
- Reconnect your Calendly account.
- Approve all requested permissions during authorization.
- Verify that your Book a Session link has reappeared.
