Types of Identity Authentication

US citizens can choose either:

• KBA (Knowledge-Based Authentication) - You will go through 5 questions regarding your personal history
• ** Biometrics ** - You will do a facial scan.

If you are have trouble with KBA or you do not have a residential history in USA, you may choose to use the Biometrics option.

Options for ID:

• Driver's License, Real ID, or State-issued ID
• Passport Card
• Passport Book
• Permanent Residence Card (Green Card)

Non-US citizens can use this option since KBA is likely not an option for you. For instance, if you have little or no credit history in the USA, KBA will be impossible to generate for you. 

In this case, we'll be using: 

• Passport Book and a Biometrics scan to prove your identity and that you're a real live person.
