Smarter Notification Controls for Business Accounts

Too many notifications create unnecessary noise. Too few can mean missed updates.


Smarter Notification Controls allow Enterprise Account Admins to manage which system notifications are sent, who receives them, and when they're delivered.
Instead of sending every notification to every user, you can customize communication preferences for different user roles, ensuring Notaries, Participants, and Admins only receive notifications relevant to them.


This helps reduce unnecessary emails while ensuring important updates reach the right audience.


Who Can Configure Notification Settings?


Only Enterprise Account Admins have access to Notification Controls. To access these settings: Go to Settings, Communications.


Available Notification Categories

Notification preferences can be configured for the following categories:


  1. Account Events : Manage onboarding and account lifecycle communications, including welcome emails and account-related updates.
  2. Invitations : Control notifications related to Admin and Notary invitations.
  3. Compliance : Manage compliance-related communications such as RON approval notifications and renewal reminders.
  4. Session Events: Configure notifications for session activity, including:
  • Session invitations
  • Session reminders
  • Session cancellations
  • Other session-related updates
  1. User Activity : Control notifications for security events and team management activities, including user additions, removals, and account changes.
  2. Billing & Usage: Manage billing communications, including invoices, subscription updates, and usage-related notifications.
