Customize Call Script with the Script Editor (Pro)

Personalize your live notarization workflow with Customizable Live-Notarization Script.

Whether you're an individual Pro notary or managing a Business team, BlueNotary allows you to customize the script used during live sessions so notaries can stay consistent, compliant, and confident.

The customized script appears directly inside the Call Script tab during PDF sessions, making it easy to guide signers without leaving the session.

Edit Notarization Script as:

Notary Pro User
Business Team Admin

For Pro Users

Where to Find it? Go to: Manage → Pro Features → Call Script

For Business Admins

Business account admins can create and manage a standardized call script for their team’s notaries.

Where to Find it? Go to: Settings → Call Script Settings

This is especially useful for:

Standardizing signer communication across the team
Reducing process variation between notaries
Training new notaries with a guided call flow
Reinforcing company SOPs and quality standards

What You Can Customize?

The Script Editor gives you full control over your call flow.

Edit Existing Lines & Section Titles

Update or delete any script line to better match how you prefer to guide signers through the session. Examples:

Adjust your welcome message [ Your Name and State]
Simplify completion instructions

Add New Lines

Need extra prompts or reminders? You can insert new lines within any section to make the script more complete and personalized.

Add New Sections

Create entirely new collapsible sections for custom workflows. For example:

Identity Verification
Witness Instructions
State-specific disclosures
Special signer notes

Remove Sections

Delete sections that are not relevant to your notarization process. This helps keep your live script clean and distraction-free.

Don't Forget to Click "Save Call Script" button after you are done editing.

Reset to Default Anytime

If you ever want to start fresh, simply select Reset to Default. This restores the original BlueNotary-provided call script, including all default sections and wording.
