What’s the New Sync Status Inside Sessions?
We’ve added a Session Sync status to help you stay informed when a notary or signer has a slow or unstable internet connection during a session. When a connection issue affects syncing, a pop-up notification appears at the bottom of the session. It lets you know that recent changes may take a little longer to sync.
Where can I find the Sync Status?
The Sync Status appears as a pop-up notification at the bottom of the session when a notary or signer experiences a bad or unstable internet connection. The notification updates automatically as the connection improves and the session catches up.
What do the different statuses mean?

🟢 Synced / Changes saved - Your latest changes have been successfully saved. You can continue working normally.
🟡 Connection issue, retrying save... - A temporary connection issue has interrupted syncing. BlueNotary will automatically retry saving your changes. You don’t need to refresh the page.
🟡 Recent changes may not be visible yet - Your session is experiencing a slower connection, so some recent updates may not have synced to everyone yet**. This mean we are retrying to connect and sync session at both ends.**
What should I do if there’s a connection issue?
In most cases, nothing is required. We will automatically attempt to reconnect and save your changes. If the message continues to appear:
- Check that your internet connection is stable.
- Avoid refreshing or closing the session.
- Wait for the sync status to return to normal.
Why did we add this?
Previously, a connection problem could happen in the background without making it clear whether your latest session changes had been saved. The new sync status gives you clear visibility into the state of your session, so you know when your changes are saved and when you may need to wait for syncing to finish.
