PDF Upload Failed Due to File Size? Try this.
If you're receiving a file size error when uploading your document, don't worry, there are a couple of simple ways we can fix this
Option 1: Compress Your PDF
The quickest solution is to reduce the file size of your PDF using a compression tool.
- Visit https://www.ilovepdf.com/compress_pdf
- Upload your PDF file.
- Download the compressed file.
- Try uploading the new file to your session.
In most cases, compression significantly reduces the file size while maintaining document quality.
Still Too Large?
If your document remains above the upload limit after compression, proceed to Option 2.
Option 2: Split the PDF Into Multiple Files
For very large documents, we recommend dividing the PDF into two or more smaller files before uploading.
- Split the document into separate PDF files (for example, Pages 1–50 and Pages 51–100).
- Complete the signing or notarization process using the smaller files.
- After the session is complete, download the finalized documents as merged document. Here's How.
This approach allows you to complete your session without being blocked by file size limitations.
