Journal Import
The Journal Import feature allows users to bulk import their Manual Session entries into the system using a CSV file. This helps save time and ensures consistent record-keeping.
How It Works
You can import Manual Session journal entries in two ways from the Journal page → Import CSV option:
1. Import Using Notary Gadget Export
- If you already use Notary Gadget, you can directly upload your exported file.
- Simply select the “Notary Gadget” option, upload the exported CSV, and your journal entries will be imported.
2. Import Using the System Template
- If you don’t have a Notary Gadget export, you can use the provided template.
Steps:
- a. Go to the Journal page and click on Import CSV.
- b. From the pop-up, click on “Following Template” to download the system’s Excel CSV template.
- c. Open the downloaded CSV file. You will find one dummy entry as an example.
Enter your own data in the same format.
- a. You can add multiple signers (up to 4 signers per entry).
- b. Save the file after filling in your entries.
- c. Go back to the Journal page → Import CSV → Upload File and select your filled CSV.
- d. The uploaded records will be created as “Manual Journal” entries in the system.
Make sure your data format matches the dummy entry in the template to avoid upload errors.
