# Journal Import

The **Journal Import** feature allows users to bulk import their **Manual Session **entries into the system using a CSV file. This helps save time and ensures consistent record-keeping.

# How It Works

You can import **Manual Session** journal entries in **two ways** from the **Journal page → Import CSV** option:

### 1. Import Using Notary Gadget Export
* If you already use **Notary Gadget**, you can directly upload your exported file.
* Simply select the **“Notary Gadget”** option, upload the exported CSV, and your journal entries will be imported.

### 2. Import Using the System Template
* If you don’t have a Notary Gadget export, you can use the provided template.

### Steps:
* a. Go to the **Journal page** and click on **Import CSV**.
* b. From the pop-up, click on **“Following Template”** to download the system’s Excel CSV template.
* c. Open the downloaded CSV file. You will find **one dummy entry** as an example.

### Enter your own data in the same format.
* a. You can add multiple signers (up to **4 signers** per entry).
* b. Save the file after filling in your entries.
* c. Go back to the Journal page → **Import CSV** → **Upload File** and select your filled CSV.
* d. The uploaded records will be created as **“Manual Journal”** entries in the system.

Make sure your data format matches the **dummy entry** in the template to avoid upload errors.
