# How to fix any Date (DoB) Entry Errors

Hi - This short article is to explain why you might be having difficulty entering your Date of Birth as a signer on BlueNotary.

The **main step** to ensure this doesn't happen is that you will need to select your individual DAY _only after_ you have selected your YEAR.

Anytime you change YEARS, you need to resect the individual DAY.

Let's say for example your birthday is: Jan 4th, 1980.

1. Select the Year
2. Select the Month
3. Select the Day and press "close". You should be good to go.
