# How to Archive a Session

Organizing your notarial work is key to staying efficient, and archiving past sessions helps you keep your dashboard clean and focused.
Whether you're wrapping up a completed session or simply tidying up, archiving is just a few clicks away.

You can easily archive sessions to keep your dashboard clean and organized, and restore them anytime when needed.

### Archiving a Session
1. Go to your **Journal**
2. Locate the session you want to archive
3. Select the session using the checkbox

5. Confirm by clicking OK 
The session will be removed from your active session list

### Viewing Archived Sessions
1. In your **Journal**, click Show Archived Sessions ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/a/d/6/f/ad6f70f312c99800/image_1s1nj8q.png)
2. You’ll see all sessions you’ve archived.  

### Unarchiving a Session
1. Go to **Show Archived Sessions**
2. Select the session you want to restore.

4. The session will now reappear in your active session list.

### Tips
* Archiving is useful for cleaning up incomplete or unused sessions.
* Archived sessions are ***not deleted or cancelled***, they can be restored anytime.
