# Get a document notarized with BlueNotary


Need to get a document notarized quickly without visiting an office? BlueNotary lets you complete the entire notarization process online, securely, and from virtually anywhere.

# As a Signer

1. **Create Your Account :** Start by entering your email address and creating a password [here](https://app.bluenotary.us/session-creation?loginViaSales=true). 2. **Upload Your Document :** Upload the document you need notarized by dragging and dropping it into the platform or browsing your files. PDF documents work perfectly.![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/a/d/6/f/ad6f70f312c99800/image_1uro70h.png)

6. **Verify Your Identity**
To protect everyone involved in the transaction, BlueNotary verifies your identity before the session begins. You'll be asked to:
* Fill in your personal details
* Upload or take a photo of your government-issued ID
* Provide a driver's license or passport
* Complete a quick biometric verification check

8. You'll now be redirected to join the session and a Notary will join to get your documents notarized. 
9. Follow along with your notary to Complete your Session!
