# Florida Estate Planning Platform Questions

When notarizing estate planning documents online — such as wills, trusts, codicils, and certain powers of attorney — Florida law requires the online notarization platform to ask the signer additional questions beyond those [asked by the notary](https://help.bluenotary.us/en/article/script-for-live-notarization-calls-florida-estate-planning-65w1fy/). If all three questions are answered 'no,' the signer may proceed with online witnessing through audio-video communication. If any question is answered 'yes,' Florida law requires that the document be witnessed by individuals **physically present with the signer at the time of signing**.
