# Adding a Witness

In some sessions, a witness other than the notary is required. To **add a witness**, Find and click the **Menu** in upper right corner.

# You will be presented with 3 options:  
  

1. Invite a witness from the BlueNotary network (a BN notary).

2. Invite a new witness from your own network.

3. Choose from previously saved witnesses - My Witnesses.

| If you choose your own witness, they will receive an email with a link to join the live session immediately.  If for any reason they are not receiving the link, you can provide this for them via your journal.
